BELLEVUE ALUMNAE CHAPTER
DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC.
Message from our Chapter's President
Welcome to the website of Bellevue Alumnae Chapter, the 800th Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Thank you for visiting our site. Here, you will learn all about our programs and services that we provide to the greater King County areas: Bellevue, Seattle, Redmond, even as far south as Kent and Federal Way, Washington.
Chartered in 1989, Bellevue Alumnae is a dynamic sisterhood, rooted in the love and care for each other and our communities as established in 1913 by twenty-two (22) phenomenal women on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC. Committed to public service, social action, sisterhood, faith, and our profound strength as women, we work daily to make our communities, our country, and our world a more equitable and just place in which to live.
This year of 2022, Bellevue Alumnae Chapter celebrates 33 years of service and partnerships; we look forward to even greater partnerships as we live out our sisterhood in action. We are One Sisterhood – for leadership, service and empowerment. These values drive us as we work in service to and with communities for a stronger tomorrow.
Bellevue Alumnae Chapter supports our National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust through well-planned and executed events that focus on:
