Bellevue Alumnae Chapter
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated
Educational Development
We are committed to expanding educational access and opportunity by investing in students at critical transition points along their academic journey. Education remains a cornerstone of our service, and we view scholarship, mentorship, and access to resources as essential tools for long-term empowerment.
A signature component of our work is the Chapter’s annual high school scholarship program. Since 2010, the Bellevue Alumnae Chapter has awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to college-bound senior high school women of color, supporting their pursuit of higher education, and affirming their academic potential.

Looking forward, the Chapter seeks strategic partnerships and collaborations that will allow us to broaden our educational impact. Through expanded scholarship support, mentoring opportunities, and access-focused programming, we aim to reach more students, reduce barriers to post-secondary success, and create pathways that support educational achievement beyond the classroom.
